That's the only way to describe how the fabulous Jamie Lidell concert on Saturday made me feel. Me and the 16 other people we went with, who were by far the most excited people to be there. It was bloody brilliant. Photos because can't really express just how genius it was, but will mention that the version of What's the Use? using Guilty Conscience was fantastic, the melding of When I Come Back Around and You Got Me Up also brilliant, and finishing with Multiply meant that everyone left with a smile. It was too short by half... but made me remember just how much I love live music. He seems to really well cover keeping the crowd happy with playing it straight, but also it's not just like listening to the album louder - he messes around with the tunes sufficiently that you feel as if you and he have a secret, in a way that people who just have the CD couldn't possibly...
